Important notice
We do not sell personal data and we never receive your full card details — payments are processed entirely inside our payment provider's encrypted environment.
01Who we are
Synedica Europe operates this online store and acts as the data controller for the personal data described in this policy. Our support address is the official contact point for all data protection matters.
This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, how long we keep it and the rights you can exercise under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the UK GDPR.
02Data we collect
- Identity and contact data: name, email address, telephone number, delivery and billing address.
- Order data: products purchased, order value, order status, invoices and support correspondence.
- Account data: login credentials handled by our commerce platform, saved addresses and order history.
- Technical data: IP address, device and browser type, and pages viewed, collected through server logs and essential cookies.
- Support data: tickets, messages and attachments you send us so we can resolve your enquiry.
03How we do not collect payment data
Card and banking details are entered directly into the encrypted checkout of our payment provider. Synedica Europe never receives, stores or processes full card numbers, CVV codes or bank authentication credentials.
We receive only a payment confirmation, the last digits of the instrument used and the transaction reference required for accounting and refunds.
04Why we process your data (legal bases)
- Performance of a contract: processing and delivering your orders, handling returns and refunds.
- Legal obligation: retaining invoices and tax records for the statutory retention period.
- Legitimate interests: fraud prevention, service security, product-authenticity verification and improving the store.
- Consent: optional marketing messages and non-essential analytics cookies, which you can withdraw at any time.
06International transfers
Where a processor is located outside the European Economic Area, transfers are protected by an adequacy decision or by the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses together with supplementary technical safeguards such as encryption in transit and at rest.
07Retention periods
- Order and invoice records: retained for the statutory accounting period (typically 7–10 years depending on jurisdiction).
- Account data: retained while your account is active, then deleted or anonymised after a period of inactivity.
- Support tickets: retained up to 24 months after closure for quality and dispute purposes.
- Server and security logs: retained for a short technical period, normally no longer than 12 months.
08Your rights
You have the right to request access to your data, correction of inaccurate data, erasure, restriction of processing, portability, and objection to processing based on legitimate interests. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw it at any time.
To exercise any right, write to suporte@synedica.com.py from the email address linked to your account. We respond within 30 days and may ask for proportionate verification to protect your data against unauthorised requests.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your national data protection authority.
09Security measures
- TLS encryption on all pages and API traffic.
- Role-based access control with least-privilege access to order data.
- Segregated payment processing so card data never reaches our systems.
- Monitoring, logging and periodic review of third-party processors.
10Children's data
The store is intended exclusively for professional and institutional customers aged 18 or over. We do not knowingly collect data from minors; if such data is identified it is deleted without delay.
11Changes and contact
Material changes to this policy are published on this page with an updated effective date. Where a change requires it, we will notify affected customers by email.
