01Scope of these terms

These Terms of Sale govern every order placed through the Synedica Europe online store. By completing checkout you confirm that you have read, understood and accepted these terms in full.

We may update these terms at any time. The version published on this page at the moment your order is confirmed is the version that applies to that order.

02Research use only

All products sold by Synedica Europe are supplied strictly for in-vitro laboratory research and analytical purposes. They are not medicinal products, not food supplements, not cosmetics and not veterinary products.

Products are not intended for human or animal consumption, injection, ingestion, inhalation, topical application or any diagnostic or therapeutic use. No product is authorised as a medicine in any jurisdiction.

• You confirm you are a qualified professional, researcher or institution acting in that capacity.
• You accept full responsibility for lawful handling, storage, labelling and disposal of the materials.
• You will not resupply, relabel or market the products for human or animal use.

03Eligibility and account accuracy

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a binding contract. You are responsible for the accuracy of the delivery, billing and contact details you provide.

We may refuse, limit, suspend or cancel any order or account where we reasonably suspect misuse, misrepresentation, fraud, chargeback abuse or a breach of these terms.

04Orders, pricing and contract formation

A displayed price is an invitation to purchase, not a binding offer. The contract is formed only when payment is authorised and we issue an order confirmation.

Prices are shown in the currency selected at checkout and exclude any import duties or local taxes that may be applied by your destination country.

Where an obvious pricing, description or stock error occurs, we may cancel the affected order and refund it in full. This is our maximum liability in such cases.

05Payment and fraud prevention

Payments are processed by our payment providers over encrypted connections. We never store full card numbers or authentication data on our systems.

For risk management we may request additional verification before dispatch. Orders flagged as high risk may be cancelled and refunded without further explanation.

06Delivery, title and risk

Delivery estimates are indicative and not guaranteed. We are not liable for delays caused by carriers, customs authorities, incorrect addresses or events beyond our reasonable control.

Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery to the address supplied. Title passes once payment has been received in full.

You are solely responsible for verifying that importation of the ordered materials is lawful in your jurisdiction. Parcels seized or refused by customs are not refundable where the restriction was foreseeable.

07Right of withdrawal and returns

Because research compounds are sensitive to handling, opened or used items cannot be resold and are excluded from the standard consumer right of withdrawal where such an exclusion is legally permitted.

Claims for damaged, incorrect or missing items are handled under our Returns Policy and must be reported within 48 hours of delivery with photographic evidence.

08Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, our total liability arising from any order is limited to the amount actually paid for that order.

We exclude all liability for indirect, incidental, consequential or special losses, including loss of data, loss of research results, loss of profit or business interruption.

Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for any liability that cannot be excluded under mandatory law.

09Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold Synedica Europe, its officers, employees and suppliers harmless against any claim, penalty, loss or cost arising from your misuse of the products, from any unauthorised human or animal use, or from your breach of these terms or applicable law.

10Intellectual property

All trademarks, product names, imagery, verification technology, page copy and site design remain the property of Synedica Europe or its licensors. No licence is granted beyond viewing the site for the purpose of placing an order.

11Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by European Union consumer and commercial law and, where applicable, by the mandatory consumer protection rules of your country of residence.

We ask that you contact us first so we can resolve any dispute directly. Formal notices must be sent in writing to our support address.
